As we welcome 2025, it's the perfect time to declutter the old, set bold resolutions, and embrace fresh starts. RHINOSHIELD has partnered with the zero-waste fashion brand Story Wear to give a second life to waste materials like plastic, fabric, and paper.

Together, we’ve created three handcrafted pieces from recycled materials: a phone charm, a woven denim strap, and the Vision Caseβ€”a phone case turned New Year vision board. With these creations, you can carry a daily reminder of your aspirations while living sustainably.

Vision Case: A Personalized Vision Board in Your Pocket

β€œManifestation” has been a buzzword on social media and among Hollywood celebrities, earning the title of Cambridge Dictionary’s Word of the Year for 2024. A vision board is a powerful tool for manifestation, transforming inner dreams into tangible, visual realities.

We invite you to craft your own 2025 vision board using old magazines and recycled paper. Place it inside our Clear or JellyTint transparent phone cases, made from 100% recyclable mono-materials, to create your personalized Vision Case. Breaking the Single-Use Cycle in Fast Fashion

Story Wear has long been a pioneer in sustainable fashion, using upcycled denim to craft unique, eco-friendly designs. For our first collaboration, we’ve joined forces for Taipei Fashion Week under the theme of Zero-Waste Fashion, launching the SS25 collection with circular design principles.

The collection features Story Wear’s iconic patterns on RHINOSHIELD’s SolidSuit cases, crafted with ShockSpreadβ„’ ECO material technology. This innovative material extends the life cycle of the cases by six times. Each case also features a traceable circular record QR code, making it easy to track its recycling journeyβ€”an essential step toward circular solutions in fashion and tech.

Additionally, the Hibiscus Flower Patchwork design showcases RHINOSHIELD’s latest RE: Textureβ„’ haptic printing technology, delivering enhanced tactile and visual depth without relying on non-recyclable glued finishes. This balance of aesthetics and sustainability reflects the hibiscus flower’s symbolism of resilience and vitality, with petals representing inward faith and outward growth.

Recycled Phone Charms: Experience Circularity Hands-On

Our Zero Waste Workshop highlights RHINO LOOP circular ecosystem, rooted in advanced material technology. Since 2017, RHINOSHIELD cases have been designed with mono-material engineering, enabling 100% recyclability. Today, our SolidSuit cases can be fully regenerated into CircularNext cases, achieving zero waste without the need for virgin plastic.

Participants at the workshop can experience this circular process firsthand by creating a Recycled Phone Charm, made from repurposed SolidSuit phone cases. It’s a fun and tangible way to explore RHINOSHIELD’s commitment to sustainable innovation.

Turning Circular Materials into Creative Expressions

RHINOSHIELD collaborates with artists and creators to unlock the potential of recycled phone cases. At the 2024 Taiwan Pride Parade, we partnered with drag artist Nymphia Wind and designer Li Yu Shen to craft circular armourβ€”an expression of protection and resilience using the inherent qualities of the circular materials.

At the RHINO LOOP:0 Circular Concept Exhibition, recycled phone cases and production scraps were transformed into circular furniture, lampshades, and planters. Unlike typical recycled items, these creations can seamlessly re-enter the RHINO LOOP system, allowing them to be reborn as phone cases once againβ€”continuing to protect your devices while preserving the planet.
